Natural eyesight education is especially relevant in today's world, for example, by helping computer users to avoid eyestrain, and sports men and women to improve their game. Even if the vision is technically 'normal' developing the 'art of seeing' through natural eyesight education has a lot to offer.

Looking at a computer screen can become tiring and uncomfortable - if you strain. By learning to see without effort and keeping the eyes relaxed while working - many problems can be avoided. Many professional computer users now regard vision education as essential training.

Being fiercely competitive, sports people are always looking for that elusive 'something' that will give them an edge over their rivals. The handicap imposed by glasses or contacts are obvious, as are the discomforts and hazards of water, grit and perspiration. Merely being able to see well enough to perform adequately without all these problems must be an advantage, and this very often be easily achieved.

Natural vision education in the 'sports vision' (SV) context means far more than the ability to read the bottom line of a test chart (known as visual acuity - VA). It certainly includes VA but offers a host of other visual faculties through improved reflexes, spatial awareness, visual memory, eye movements, central peripheral awareness, hand-eye co-ordination, vision reaction time - in fact the whole visual system. These are all reported by those who have experience of the work.
